The High Commission promotes Uganda’s exports. It markets Uganda as a trade, investment and tourist destination with a rich variety of physical and cultural attractions. The High Commission sells Uganda as an educational hub with quality educational facilities that attract students from all over the region.
Through the provision of Consular services, Uganda High Commission protects the interests of Uganda and its nationals in Kenya, within the limits of international law.
As the host for UNEP and UN-HABITAT, Kenya is an important multi-lateral centre for environmental diplomacy. The High Commission effectively represents Uganda at these fora.
